Chad Riden has ran for Governor of Tennessee and Mayor of Nashville but has also failed at many other things, having plowed through a bankruptcy, divorce and foreclosure as if those were levels in a video game and not chapters of his life. Riden tells self-incriminating stories of his pointless, nonsensical, ridiculous deeds that embarrass his family and make everybody else think he’s a weirdo.
Riden has appeared on “The Daily Show” on Comedy Central, the Late Show with David Letterman’s “Tony Mendez Show,” ABC’s “Nashville,” is featured on an episode of CMT-Canada’s “Mississippi Snake Grabbers,” and once ate lunch at The Magic Castle (fancy!).
Chad produces and hosts the annual world record breaking 184+ hour long #BrokenRecordShow (longest stand-up comedy show, multiple comedians), topping the old record by 5 minutes every year as a live example of the law of diminishing returns.
He hosts and produces “Nashville StandUp Sits Down” on WXNA FM and livestreams regularly on Twitch and YouTube.
Chad Riden lives in East Nashville with a turtle and a “biological, human” daughter who does not approve of any of this.
